The membership of the Royal Selangor Golf Club
currently stands at 6000 Members. The total
membership base is about 18,000 inclusive of registered
dependants who are spouses and children of Members.
Membership Categories

Honorary
Membership |

The Honorary
Members are the Heads of States, the Prime
Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the
country and they are the Club's patrons. |

Ordinary
Membership |
|
Ordinary Membership is
open to individuals. The membership is for life.
Male and female persons who are above 21 years of
age may apply
for admission as Ordinary Members.

|
|
Distinguished
Persons Membership |
|
Distinguished Persons
are for the ranks of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy
Cabinet Ministers and
other senior positions
in the government service, subject to the approval
of
the Club.
|
|
|
Foreign
Diplomatic Term Membership |
|
Foreign
Diplomatic Term Membership are for Diplomats
from the Diplomatic Missions or Trade
Commissions established in Malaysia.

|
Corporate
Membership |
|
Corporate
Membership is for incorporated
companies with registered office in and
conducting businesses out in Malaysia and they
may apply for Corporate Membership for their
nominees. |
|
|
Guests of the
Club |
|
After the passing
of an Ordinary Member, his widow or her
widower may be apply to become a Guest of
Club, in order to continue using the facilities
as usual. |

|
Junior Membership
and election of Junior Members into Ordinary
Membership |
|
Junior Membership
is for children of Ordinary Members and the
admission age is between the child's 15 and
16th birthday. When the Junior Members
reach their 21st birthday, they will be
eligible to apply for election into Ordinary
Membership. |

|
Registered
Dependants |
|
Spouse and children
below the age of 21 of Members of any membership category are
entitled to use the facilities of the Club as
Registered Dependants. Only the natural and
legally adopted children of Members shall be
accorded as Dependants .
|
The RSGC membership is non-transferable nor for
resale.
All Members and their registered dependants are
guided by the Memorandum and Articles of Association
and the General Bye-Laws of the Club.
